Malcolm Newdick gave an excellent talk on the results of the DNA testing of the squirrel population on Bute, with 327 samples tested. “Dr Rebecca Synnott joined us by Zoom from Ireland to answer questions at the end of the talk. The results will be published in academic papers and we should be receiving practical conservation recommendations in the next few months.”
