This early postcard shows Argyle Street and Argyle Place long before the Pavilion was built. The old Rothesay Academy building is on the hill and Queen’s Hotel can be seen as well as the gap in the houses for McKinlay Street, Three spires are visible, St John’s Church, the West Church and Chapelhill Free Church, the only one still remaining.
