Description : St Blane’s Hotel and Bowling Green 1938
The area was well served having both this bowling green as well as the one beside the Kingarth Hotel. There was also a tennis court on the far side of the hotel. The steamer pier can be seen beyond the hotel. This was built in the 1880s and closed in 1955. At the time of this photo Kilchattan Bay had thirteen shops. (P15-0056, A3.348)
