Date: 19th century
Description : 3 items once used in a Bute pharmacy. The pill rolling machine made rows of little round pills. The cachet machine produced flat capsules enclosing a dose of unpleasant medicine. The round box contained wafer papers for the ‘easy administration of nauseous medicines’.
Origin: These items came from a storeroom in McLeod’s chemist shop when it closed.
