Description : Thomson’s poulterer’s shop was situated on the corner of Montague Street and Bridgend Street, the site now occupied by a hairdressers. It became better known as Annie Jeffries shop selling both fish and poultry and trading for many years. As can be seen, a wide selection of produce was available though the display of goods for sale is very different from what is allowed today. (P03-3226, B9.010) (Shops)
