Description: A well-made small stone bowl, oval in shape and measuring 100mm x 400mm.  It still has its original paper label from the excavation and the date of its discovery – 1919.

Origin: The bowl was found during the excavation of the Iron Age hill fort at Dunagoil, at the south end of Bute. Excavations took place between 1913-15 and 1919 under the direction of Ludovic Mann. Transaction of BNHS Vol VIII and IX.
