Description : Rothesay Victoria Football Club
Royal Victoria Football Club was instituted in 1890 and was a very successful local football team winning the Buteshire Challenge Cup in 1896,1897, 1898/99,1899/1900,1900/01/1903/04 and the Knockdow Charity Cup in 1901,1902,1903. This photograph shows them posing in Rothesay Castle with these two cups, Buteshire Cup on the right. Both these trophies are now in the Bute Museum.
