Learning about Rothesay Castle is fun

The museum was invaded by nearly 50 children from P 5 and P5/4 of Rothesay Primary on Wednesday morning. As there were so many children in at the one time, a bit of careful organisation was required. A combination of careful planning by the museum staff and wonderful behaviour by the children meant that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the morning. The groups of children did everything from drawing artefacts from the Rothesay Castle case and  handling objects from the museum collection to searching from small coloured frogs in the cases. Apart from spending money in the shop, the most popular thing was getting to unlock the door from Rothesay Prison.
